Shelbie Nacole has proudly called Lubbock home since 2009. After earning both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University, she built her career as a licensed CPA serving individuals and businesses across the region.
Shelbie and her husband have lived in the Lubbock-Cooper district since 2015. They have three children: one LCISD graduate, one current student, and their youngest who will soon join the district. As an active member of the Lubbock Chamber Young Professionals, Shelbie stays engaged in community service and leadership throughout Lubbock.
Shelbie’s work as a CPA has taught her the value of planning responsibly, managing growth wisely, and making thoughtful, informed decisions. These are the same qualities she hopes to bring to the Lubbock-Cooper ISD School Board.

Why I'm Running
LCISD is home for my family. I care deeply about the future of every child in our district. Lubbock-Cooper is a strong and thriving school system, and I have great respect for the work our educators, administrators, and community members have done to build it.
My decision to run is rooted in building up not tearing down. I want to build upon the things our district has already done. With my experience, I am confident in my ability to create smart, efficient budgets. I will ensure tax dollars are being used in the most efficient way that benefits our staff and students.
As a CPA, I understand the importance of fiscal responsibility, long-term planning, and careful stewardship, all essential as LCISD continues to grow at an incredible pace. I want to bring thoughtful leadership, clear communication, and collaborative decision-making to the board.
